Well, both games were rained out today. Tom and Greg got to Cypress, as was the entire team, and the game was called. The field was too wet. There is still a possibility it could be rescheduled this weekend.
Soccer fields were open so Evy and I headed to the park for her game. Got there and it started raining. People were showing up, refs showed up. We huddled in cars or umbrellas when it rained. Enjoyed the blue sky for about 5 minutes while the teams started warming up, then rain again. The refs called the game.
But there is soccer tomorrow and todays game will be made up on Tuesday.
Evy and I headed to East Coast Bagels for bagels.
So, finishing cleaning house, getting a hot shower and then will head over to church for the festival. It is clearing up so could be a nice day afterall
Just very wet and muddy fields this morning. Thought for sure we would be having some mud bowl games.
