Game highlights

Time for game updates:
Football: Tom and Greg made it to Pasadena in plenty of time. I was told this was a tough game for the Bears. And that is reflected by the score, 33 - 6. Tom said the boys were very tired. And who would not be, getting up that early for a game. But, back to the highlights, Greg scored a touch down in the 4th quarter. He had a good run, got tackled within 10 yards of the goal line. Another player advanced the ball. Next play, Greg go the TD!! Whoo-hoo! Greg also played a lot of defense. He told me he was so tired but didn't want to give up.
When Evy and I got home from soccer, poor guy was looking wiped out. He was laying on the couch watching the Oregon Ducks and Wisconsin football game. He is at his friends birthday party at the lake right now. Hopefully getting in the water will wake him up.

Soccer: What a first game for Kryptonite! Evelyn was playing left mid field which seems to be her position. She was so into the game. She had many good stops, took the ball up the field and awesome throw ins! Way to go Evy!! She played the entire game. Her team won 3 - 2 and it was a very well matched game. Her friend was on the other team, as well as 2 girls from her team last year.
Evelyn told me after the game that she was so tired but didn't want to come out of the game and was glad she was able to stay in and play the entire game.
Now Evelyn has planted herself in my bed watching movies. I think I will join her soon. We are all pretty wiped out!

But all in all, it was a great day for soccer and football and the kids played good games. Tomorrow will be another day to rest.
