Ok, let's see if I can do this quickly............
Twilight - Good movie. Evy wants to/has to see it again. Not right now.
Evelyn saw here friend's play, Scrooge. She got home at 10:30 and got woken up at 6 am Saturday morning by her brother. Said the play was very good!
Greg enjoyed hanging out with his friend and then going to his party at Lazer Quest. Tom picked him up at 8. One tired, sweaty guy!!
Garage Sale- Oh MY! We sorted and priced like maniacs Friday night, put up signs and were ready for the morning. I was out at 5:15 am to put up 2 more signs and make sure all the rest were still up. Although I advertised at 7 am, our first customer was here before 6. Tom and I had just started dragging things out. He bought a lot of stuff too! Shortly after 6 the rest started rolling on by. Guess the signs worked! We had a lull around 7:30 which lasted all of maybe 10 minutes. Finally slowed down around 11:30. We sold 3/4 of the stuff (not bad!!), I hauled a car load to Good Will. The kids did some negotiating and ended up making quite a bit of money.
Greg was bummed to leave the garage sale for a soccer scrimmage. They played the other All Star team. We were short 3 players. I don't know the score or any details, but Greg said they had a good game. He got to play against some of his other friends.
Boat Parade Saturday night. I napped all the way to Hunting Beach. We met some very nice people and had a very nice time. The kids and I played some ping pong. We sat on the patio and watched the boats float on by. Some were so decked out. Amazing! I didn't get very good photos so none to share, sory.
Sunday, up early, again, to get ready for the Father/Daughter Dance. Evelyn and Tom went to church at 7 am then then home to change. Evelyn looked so pretty in her dress, but would not allow photos. I'll have to wait till the professional one from the dance comes back.
Greg and I did some major shopping, I cleaned the garage (it's not done but looks soooo much better), we got down the Christmas decorations and I had a chance to do some laundry and clean the house.
Tom and Evy get home, change and we head out the door to Chrissy's 40th party. We only stayed for a few hours as we were all pretty wiped out and wanted to get back home and get the kids ready for school on Monday.
We set up the Christmas tree but didn't decorate it yet. It's a multi-step process. :)
Whew!! Did I get it all in there? I'm sure I missed something. Hopefully we can work on getting the garage back in order throughout the week. Will be nice to be able to park the cars inside again.
Tonight Evy has riding lessons, Tuesday Greg has practice and Evy has her school Christmas program, Wednesday Greg was called back for AYSO Plus try outs, Thursday he has soccer practice. Friday we rest. Saturday Greg has a soccer game in the morning. Sunday we rest.
Can you keep up with us? Come on along if you want and enjoy the crazy!!
Have a super weeek.
