After the fires

It has been agout 2 months since the Santiago Fire has come and gone. We have had the residual black soot dust blowing in our house and getting all over everything, inside and out, when it rains. We thought it was all washed away with the first big rain, but it came back with the next Santa Ana winds. We have had a good rain that started last Friday evening. Hopefully this rain has washed away the ashes.

Part of the hills have been seed blasted and you can see green patches on them.

On the way home from the Rose Parade on New Years Day, I took pictures as we were driving along the toll road where the fire was.
